Walking around Hong Kong Disneyland is strange. They sell snacks that street vendors also sell in Hong Kong, every attraction is in three languages (Cantonese, Mandarin and English), and it's ok to be really touristy.

Also, they sell a lot of items featuring big-eyed Disney characters. I was going to document more of these, but there really is too many items to show.

I have noooo idea why these are so popular. The invasion of Japanese cartoons and anime? An appeal to other Asian tourists? Broadening their horizon? Anyway, bottom line: they are really creepy.
Anyway, my cousin's boyfriend bought me a phone accessory featuring one of these big-eyed Mickeys as a joke.

I promised him that I would put it on my phone. When I do it, it's ironic, right? Hah.
