aa vs target

This isn't really an outfit post. I mean, I didn't take these pictures specifically to show you what I've been wearing. This is more of a public service announcement for those who don't know: Target is selling a skirt that is very very similar to American Apparel's pocket skirt. Oh, and for $10. True, it's probably not made sweatshop free and there aren't a lot of colors to choose from (only red, gray, black, and bright blue), but I think the length is better (it's a little longer) and it's not as tight. Also, did I mention it's only $10?

Oh and about these shoes. I was walking around this small-ish street in Hong Kong when I saw these shoes in the window. I went inside the shoe store to inquire about it and they didn't have my size in that color. They let me try the size I wanted in a different color and told me to pay for it now/order it, and the company would send it to that store that night. I thought that was a little annoying (INSTANT GRATIFICATION) but they promised that it would be at the store by that night and that they'd call me. That night: no call. The next day: no call. So I finally called them and they're like "Oh, you should expect the shoes in 3-4 days" and I was like MMMM. NO. I was leaving for Hong Kong the next day and there was no way I would be able to get them. So, FINALLY they hauled ass and got me the shoes. Basically, it was almost too much effort for these shoes. Almost.

And what kind of post is this if we don't end it with me being awkward?:
