Inspired

Those who have been following me for awhile now know that I'm very influenced and inspired by street style blogs. On occasion, I blog my current favorite looks. I remember when I first started following style blogs my first year of college. I was just starting to really create my own style, although I was far from what anyone would call "fashionable" then. Little by little, I incorporated pieces into my wardrobe, pushed myself to get out of my comfort zone, stop being conscious of my body, and ultimately--and this is VERY CHEESY--just have fun with my clothes.



Although I have a lot of photos saved that are awe-inspiring, they are hard to emulate or are looks that I don't use to emulate as much as I use to admire. Then, there are looks that I feel I can pull off. Those are my favorites. My most recent favorite snap comes from a UK-based street style blog called Hoy Fashion. The look is masculine and feminine. It's simple and clean yet cool. I think I had this photo in the back of my head when I was getting dressed today. It's not the same outfit, of course, but one I was inspired by.
