Taken on Saturday.
I know a lot of people invest time into planning their outfits for their birthday party/outing/dinner. Usually, I do too. But since I've been in such a clothing funk, the appeal of looking special for my ~day~ didn't appeal to me. However, my two bday celebrations (one on Saturday and one on my actual birthday this past Wednesday) were great and full of wonderful friends. So at least I have that. No photos from my outfit for Saturday (except the one photo above with my pretty Princess margarita), but I wore these two outfits on my actual birth day. Like I said, fickle!
1. A lady gave me a washing machine that she accidentally paid for so I got to do one load for free!;
2. I was able to get the handyman/contractor in my building to help put up some shelves since I didn't have the equipment to properly and safely do it myself!;
3. I got a free scoop of ice cream, a candle, and a lovely rendition of "Happy Birthday" by the great dudes over at Wafels and Dinges.
