The designers of Vena Cava had stated that this Resort collection was inspired by the 90s in Venice Beach. If I had read that and didn't look at the collection, I would be a little turned off. First of all, I grew up wearing oversized t-shirts, leggings and scrunchies. That, to me, was the (early) '90s. Venice nowadays is full of crazy hippies and suuuuper laid back beachy people--I am neither of these things. Good thing what they meant by the beach was casual and breezy tops, skirts, and fabrics inspired by a South African tribe. On another note, I am coveting all these shoes hardcoreeee.
ADAM, on the other hand, is a completely different collection. For this collection, ADAM has decided to try their hand at a nautical theme, minus the obvious anchors and such. Wave-like chiffon skirts, oversize blazers (I know, a little '80s. I'm just going to semi-embrace it guys), and silk shift dresses all make an appearance here.
